Frank Dental Tapered Round End (TR) Fine Grain Diamond Burs (made in germany) are manufactured from the highest quality steel shanks using exquisite fine natural diamonds to match international specifications. This advanced manufacturing, using computer controlled precision engineering, ensures true concentricity and balance, minimising vibration and potential damage to handpiece bearings and at the same time improving cutting efficiency and product longevity.

Different grain sizes allow the targeted removal of specific volumes and maximum conservation of tooth substance. The burs are available in various sizes. 

The Diamond plating of these burs is carried out under strictly controlled conditions specific to the bur pattern involved.

Directions for Use

• Sterilization: Autoclave the bur before initial use and after each clinical procedure, following standard sterilization protocols to maintain asepsis.
• Insertion: Insert the FG (Friction Grip) bur into a compatible airotors. Ensure secure placement and check for smooth, concentric rotation to avoid handpiece wear and enhance precision.
• Clinical Application: Use this bur for precise finishing during tooth preparation and contouring of composite restorations. The fine grit is ideal for smoothing surfaces without removing excess material, preserving tooth structure.
• Technique: Apply gentle, controlled pressure while finishing margins, axial walls, or occlusal surfaces. The tapered round-end design allows smooth blending into natural tooth contours.
• Water Spray: Always operate under continuous water coolant spray to reduce heat buildup, minimize patient discomfort, and preserve bur integrity.
• Cleaning: After use, rinse thoroughly to remove any composite or tooth debris. Disinfect and sterilize before next use to ensure clinical safety and performance.
• Storage: Store in a sterilized bur holder or tray to protect the diamond coating and maintain organization. Inspect regularly for signs of wear and replace when cutting performance decreases.
