Description
Whiteness RM is a ready-to-use dental microabrasion paste that combines 6 % hydrochloric acid with micronised silicon-carbide particles to eliminate intrinsic stains confined to enamel. Applied manually with the supplied spatula or by low-speed rubber cup, the compound delivers controlled chemical–mechanical action that erases fluorosis, hypoplasia and inactive-caries opacities without generating post-operative sensitivity. Each treatment instantly smooths and brightens the surface providing long-lasting esthetic improvement. The convenient 2 g syringe, ten tips and spatula streamline chairside handling, and up to 15 short applications can be performed in a single visit, followed by neutral fluoride and final polishing for optimal lustre.

Controlled chemical and mechanical removal of enamel stained by fluorosis, surface hypoplasia of the enamel, structural defects that cause pigmentation, or white stains from inactive caries.

Directions for Use
DIRECTIONS TO USE:
STEP 1:
Proceed with isolation of the teeth with a rubber dam.
STEP 2:
Apply a small amount of product on the surface to be abraded. Using the spatula that comes with the kit, do manual friction with the product on the stained enamel for 10 seconds.
STEP 3:
Wash with plenty of water after each application. To verify the need for more applications of the product, the enamel surface should always be moist.
STEP 4:
The microabrasion operation can be repeated up to 15 times in the same session, depending on the wear and the stain removal obtained.
NOTE:
If there is any doubt regarding the depth of the stain, note whether its shape and size change after the first applications. If it does not change, it is probably that it is a deeper stain and that the microabrasion technique is not suitable for its removal.
STEP 5:
After washing and drying of the treated teeth, apply neutral sodium fluoride (Flúor Care – FGM) for 1 minute.
STEP 6:
Then polish the enamel with a felt disk (Diamond Flex – FGM) and polishing paste (Diamond Excel – FGM).
PRECAUTIONS:
• It is of fundamental importance that the procedure of enamel microabrasion be performed with absolute isolation, wearing protective eyewear for the professional, the patient and the assistant, protective mask for the professional and assistant, and use of operating gloves.
• The product has strongly acidic characteristics due to the presence of hydrochloric acid in the formula. Avoid contact of the product with the skin, eyes, and soft tissues of the oral cavity. In case of accidental contact, wash immediately with water. If necessary, seek medical attention.
• The product is not indicated for removal of deep stains.
• Open the packaging and test the viscosity of the product in a place away from the patient to prevent possible accidents.
• Handle the product only with operating gloves, protective mask, and safety glasses. Prevent inhalation of any vapors given off by the product.
• Never leave the product on the tooth surface without exerting control over its action, at the risk of causing excessive demineralization of the site.
• Not injectable.
• Do not reuse the syringe.
