Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Ensure a sterile surgical environment, including sterile gloves and instruments.
• Confirm that the appropriate suture material (Sterile Synthetic Absorbable Dyed Braided Suture) and needle type are selected.
• Prepare the surgical site by cleaning and disinfecting it.

Suturing Procedure:

• Grasp the needle holder with your dominant hand and the forceps with your non-dominant hand.
• Pass the needle through the tissue, starting from one side and exiting on the other.
• Pull the suture through, leaving an appropriate length for knot tying.
• Use an appropriate knot-tying technique (e.g., square knot or surgeon’s knot) to secure the tissue.
• Repeat the above steps for additional sutures as needed, maintaining even spacing.
• Ensure that knots are tied securely but not excessively tight to prevent tissue strangulation.

Trimming Excess Suture:

• Trim any excess suture material, leaving a short tail (usually about 1-2 cm) beyond the knot.
• Be cautious not to cut the suture too close to the knot, which could cause it to unravel.

Postoperative Care:

• Provide appropriate wound care instructions to the patient.
