Durr Dental Orotol Plus is a highly effective concentrate specially developed for the daily disinfection, cleaning, deodorization, and care of dental suction systems, amalgam separators, and spittoon bowls. Used as a 2% solution, it ensures reliable infection control while maintaining the functionality and hygiene of dental units. With a broad antimicrobial spectrum, Orotol® Plus is proven to be bactericidal, tuberculocidal, fungicidal, and virucidal, effective even against enveloped viruses (HBV, HCV, HIV) and non-enveloped viruses (adeno, noro). Its aldehyde-free formulation is based on quaternary ammonium compounds, making it gentle on equipment surfaces while delivering excellent cleaning performance. The solution actively removes stubborn deposits, biofilm, proteins, and blood residues, preventing blockages and unpleasant odors. Easy to prepare, Orotol® Plus is aspirated through the suction system using the OroCup and guarantees long-lasting system hygiene. Recommended for once or twice daily use, it provides safe, thorough, and eco-friendly dental practice disinfection.

Directions for Use

• Dilute – Mix 20 ml Orotol® Plus concentrate with 1 litre of cold water to make a 2% solution.

• Aspirate – Using the OroCup, draw the solution through the suction hoses until it reaches the spittoon bowl.

• Fill Spittoon – Pour at least 250 ml of the solution directly into the spittoon bowl.

• Exposure Time – Let the solution work for the required contact time.

• Rinse – After disinfection, flush the system thoroughly with water.

• Frequency – Use once daily (preferably after the last patient). For heavy workloads, disinfect twice daily.

• Important – Always prepare a fresh solution for each application.
