Description

The Dentaltech Disposable Transfer Coping is a single-use prosthetic component used to record the exact position of a dental implant during impression-taking. Compatible with Adin, Noris, MIS, and AB Dental implant systems, it accurately transfers the implant’s location, angulation, and depth to the working model for a well-fitting final restoration. Designed for the closed-tray (indirect) impression technique, the coping is seated onto the implant and stays in the mouth while the impression is removed, then repositioned with an analog into the set impression before pouring the cast. Its disposable design removes cross-contamination risk and the need for sterilization between patients.

Made from a dimensionally stable polymer, each coping delivers consistent, distortion-free transfers chairside.

Directions for Use

Preparation

• Confirm the implant system matches (Adin, Noris, MIS, or AB Dental) and select the correct coping
• Remove the healing abutment or cover screw and clean the implant connection

Placement

• Seat the transfer coping onto the implant, ensuring full engagement of the connection
• Confirm correct seating radiographically if required

Operation

• Take a closed-tray impression over the seated coping using your chosen impression material
• Allow the material to fully set, then remove the impression from the mouth
• Remove the coping, attach it to the implant analog, and reposition the assembly into the impression before pouring the cast

Post Use Care

• Discard the coping after single use — do not reuse or sterilize
• Reconnect the healing abutment to protect the implant connection until the next appointment
