Directions for Use

Tooth Preparation:

• Clean the tooth surface thoroughly with a non-fluoridated pumice to remove plaque and debris.
• Rinse the tooth surface with water, then dry it completely with air.
• Isolate the tooth to prevent contamination from saliva or moisture.

Etching:

• Apply a 35-37% phosphoric acid etching gel to the enamel surface for 15-30 seconds.
• Rinse the etched area thoroughly with water and dry it again. The etched enamel should have a frosty white appearance.

Primer Application:

• Lightly apply Cu-ray Eclipse Primer to the etched enamel surface using a brush or applicator.
• Avoid pooling the primer. Use air to gently spread a thin, uniform layer.
• Note: The primer does not need to be light-cured separately.

Adhesive Application:

• Apply a small amount of Cu-ray Eclipse Adhesive Paste directly onto the base of the orthodontic bracket.
• Place the bracket onto the tooth, pressing it gently to seat it in the desired position.
• Remove any excess adhesive from around the bracket base using a dental instrument before curing.

Curing:

• Use a visible light-curing unit or laser curing instrument to polymerize the adhesive.
• Cure each bracket for 10-20 seconds on the mesial and distal sides, depending on the intensity of the curing light. Ensure thorough curing of the adhesive to maximize bond strength.

Final Check:

• After curing, verify the bond by checking the stability of the brackets.
• Remove any remaining excess adhesive and proceed with the orthodontic procedure.
