Cerkamed Bio MTA+ Maxi Pack is a high-performance dental material designed for use in endodontic treatments such as root perforation repair, intracanal resorption, direct pulp capping, and apexification. This advanced bioceramic formula consists of calcium and silicon-based oxides, hydroxyapatite, and a calcium catalyst in purified water, delivering superior remineralization and biocompatibility. The inclusion of hydroxyapatite promotes seamless integration with natural bone tissue. Once mixed, Bio MTA+ offers excellent plasticity and cohesiveness, making application easier than traditional MTA. It is radiopaque, highly resistant to brittling, and adheres well to instruments, ensuring precise placement. Bio MTA+ is not intended as a permanent root canal filling but excels in regenerative procedures and pulpal preservation, especially in cases of immature teeth and root resorption

Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Ensure the treatment site is clean and isolated using a rubber dam. Disinfect and dry the area thoroughly before application

Mixing:

• Open one glass vial of BIO MTA+ powder and place the contents on a sterile mixing pad. Add a few drops of BIO MTA+ liquid (from the provided vial) and mix using a sterile spatula until a homogeneous, plastic, and cohesive consistency is achieved. Do not use water or any other liquid

Application:

• Apply the prepared material directly to the site (e.g., root canal perforation, resorption area, or apex) using a suitable instrument like a carrier or plugger. Gently compact if required

Setting:

• Allow the material to set. Avoid contamination with blood or moisture during the setting phase, as it may interfere with the final hardness and integrity

Final Restoration:

• Once the BIO MTA+ is fully set, proceed with the permanent restoration as per the clinical protocol

Sterilization & Disposal:

• Dispose of used mixing tools and vials responsibly. Do not reuse single-use components. Follow all safety precautions during handling
