The LS100 delivers true-color textured scans, 8 µm accuracy, and a full-arch scan in approximately 10 seconds, enabling rapid CAD/CAM workflows. It supports impression, tray, die, implant scanbody, RPD and articulator scanning with intelligent auto-alignment and free die placement for streamlined model handling. Native outputs include STL, PLY and OBJ for seamless integration with Exocad and other design software. With USB 3.0 connectivity, LED blue light source, and compact 370 × 280 × 430 mm footprint, the LS100 is designed to boost lab efficiency and preserve fine margin detail for reliable digital restorations

Directions for Use

Preparation

• Place the LS100 on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation
• Connect power supply and USB 3.0 cable to a PC meeting system requirements
• Install and launch the scanner software and confirm Exocad integration if required

Calibration

• Attach the calibration plate or follow on-screen calibration routine as prompted
• Ensure the scanner tip and tray area are clean and free from debris

Scanning Workflow

• Select scan mode: full arch, tray, die, implant or RPD in the software
• Place model, impression or scanbody on the tray using free die placement if needed
• Start scan and monitor live preview, reposition object only if advised
• Use intelligent scan options to capture color texture and gingival separation

Post-scan Processing

• Review mesh and texture, trim unnecessary areas and verify margin clarity
• Export files in STL, PLY or OBJ for CAD or 3D printing workflows

Maintenance

• Keep optical surfaces and tray clean with lint-free cloth and recommended cleaner
• Power down correctly and cover the unit when not in use to prevent dust accumulation
• Schedule periodic software and firmware updates per manufacturer guidance
