API Mouth Gags

Description

Mouth Gags are used to keep mouth open during oral & maxillofacial surgeries & to reduce TMJ trauma for sedated patients. Mouth gags have the added benefit of decreasing the incidence of perioperative and postoperative TMJ pain, dysfunction, and muscle stiffness during lengthy procedures.

Furthermore, mouth gags are safe and protective for the patient and operator while having the desired maximal incisal opening that allows for better exposure and visualization of the operative field for the procedure.

API Mouth Gag Molt – Molt Mouth Gag used to prop mouth open during extraction procedures and reduce TMJ trauma for sedated patients

API Mouth Gag Heistor – Self retaining mouth gag that can be used to keep the mouth open during any minor or major oral & maxillofacial surgeries under local or general anaesthesia.

API Mouth Gag Fergusan – Its principal use is to keep the mouth from closing without damaging the temporomandibular joint. The instrument features serrated tooth plates that easily interlock with incisors, canines of premolars.

It features a plier grip style handle with a spring system and ratcheted stems. As a result, surgeons can press the device to adjust the ratchet ring at the desired position to control the jaws opening.
