API Milling Tool – DC (Vhk K4) includes high-quality milling bur, accurate tools are optimized to allow your system to run more efficiently. Dc milling tool with cutting edge diameter of 0.6mm to 2.0mm. Larger diameter tools are mainly used for efficently roughing whereas small diameter tools are used for finishing or carving out fissures.

Directions for Use

• Insert the API DC Milling Tool securely into the VHK K4 milling system spindle.

• Choose the tool diameter based on the procedure: larger for roughing, smaller for finishing and fissure detailing.

• Ensure the zirconium oxide or relevant block is firmly positioned in the milling chamber.

• Calibrate the tool path using the CAD/CAM software before initiating the milling process.

• Operate at the manufacturer-recommended RPM to achieve smooth, precise cutting and optimal surface finish.

• Avoid excessive feed rates to minimize tool wear and maintain contour accuracy.

• After milling, clean the tool gently using compressed air or a soft brush.

• Inspect the cutting edges regularly and replace worn burs to maintain consistent performance.
