Directions for Use

Preparation

• Ensure the mouth mirror has been properly cleaned, sterilized, and dried before use.
• Inspect the mirror surface for scratches, cracks, corrosion, or loss of reflectivity. Do not use damaged mirrors.
• Attach the mirror head securely to the mirror handle if supplied separately.

Patient Positionin

• Position the patient comfortably in the dental chair.
• Adjust lighting to ensure adequate illumination of the oral cavity.

Use During Examination or Treatment

• Hold the mirror using a pen grasp for optimal control.

Use the mirror to:

• View areas that are not directly visible (posterior teeth, lingual surfaces).
• Retract cheeks, lips, or tongue gently.

• Avoid applying excessive pressure to prevent patient discomfort or tissue injury.

Fog Control

Minimize fogging by:
