Directions for Use
Preparation:
- Ensure the working area is clean and dry
- Mount the selected bur onto a low-speed RA contra-angle handpiece (2.35mm shank)
- Set the handpiece speed between 3000–8000 RPM (do not exceed 10,000 RPM)
- Instruct the operator to wear protective gear, including a mask and eyewear
Clinical Procedure:
- Step 1 – Trimming: Use the white sand grinding head to contour and smoothen the composite or veneer surface
- Step 2 – Pre-Polishing: Use the pink polishing wheel for intermediate finishing, enhancing surface smoothness
- Step 3 – Final Polishing: Use the gray polishing wheel to achieve a high-luster, mirror-like finish without the need for polishing paste
Post-Operative Care:
- Thoroughly clean the used burs under running water to remove debris
- Sterilize the instruments using steam autoclaving at 135°C
- Dry and store the burs in a sterile container until next use
