Directions for Use

Prepare the Equipment:

• Ensure all components are clean and properly sterilized
• Attach the Measuring Wire to the apex locator main unit

Attach the Accessories:

• Connect the Lip Hook to one end of the Measuring Wire
• Attach the File Clip to the other end of the Measuring Wire
• Secure the File Clip to the endodontic file

Position the Lip Hook:

• Place the Lip Hook in contact with the patient’s lips, cheek, or gingiva
• Ensure it is properly positioned, or place it under a rubber dam if necessary

Measure Canal Length:

• Insert the endodontic file into the root canal
• Observe the apex locator readings to determine the canal’s working length

Post-Procedure Care:

• After use, remove the accessories.
• Autoclave the Lip Hook and File Clip.
• Clean the Measuring Wire with a soft cloth or tissue and an aldehyde-free disinfectant.
