Wizdent Secure Core Z introduces a new class of zirconia-reinforced, self-adhesive bulk-fill restorative material designed for quick and predictable placement with low technique sensitivity. Its unique A2-A3 bridge shade ensures a durable and aesthetic core, making it ideal for various clinical applications. The material offers excellent marginal integrity due to low solubility and minimal shrinkage, and its non-sticky, packable consistency allows for easy single-step bulk restorations

Directions for Use

Isolation & Cleaning

Isolate the tooth (rubber dam recommended). Prophylactically clean with pumice and water to remove biofilm.

Tooth Surface Preparation

Prepare the cavity. Apply tooth conditioner with a cotton pledget for 30 seconds on un-reduced tooth areas; rinse thoroughly and blot dry.

Pulp Protection

For deep cavities, place an appropriate pulp-capping/liner material as indicated.

Matrix Placement

If proximal walls are involved, place and secure a suitable matrix band.

Dispensing (Powder/Liquid Ratio)

Use a clean, dry glass slab or paper pad. Fluff powder (tap/invert bottle). Dispense 2 level scoops powder : 1 drop liquid. Eliminate air bubbles from the drop and recap immediately.

Mixing & Working Times

Incorporate ~½ of the powder into the liquid and mix 5–10 s, then add the remainder in one portion and complete mixing. Do not add powder in multiple small increments.

Mixing time: 30 s

Working time (23 ± 1 °C): ≥ 1 min 30 s

Setting time (37 ± 1 °C): ≤ 3 min 30 s

Placement & Protection

Place with non-stick instruments (lightly dust instrument tip with powder to reduce sticking). Avoid saliva contamination for at least 10 minutes after placement. After removing the matrix, coat exposed GIC with a thin layer of light-cured resin/varnish, cure 10 s, and reapply if needed.

Finishing & Polishing

Prefer definitive finishing at a subsequent visit. If required immediately, begin ≥ 10 minutes after placement using fine abrasive discs or stones. Re-seal with glaze/varnish after finishing.
