Waldent UV Chambers Tube Light was designed and produced according to the national standard.

These UV Tube Lights are slim double-ended UVC (germicidal) lamps used in professional water and air disinfection units. TUV T8 lamps offer almost constant UV output over their complete lifetime, for maximum security of disinfection and high system efficacy. Moreover, they have a long and reliable lifetime, which allows maintenance to be planned for in advance

The small 16 mm diameter of the lamp allows for a small system design and design flexibility.

Ultraviolet radiation has enough energy to break down the chemical bonds between electrons and atoms. That’s why it can be harmful to eyes and skin (sunburn), but why it is also benefit for disinfecting surfaces and purifying air.

UV-C disinfection uses light to break down the chemical compounds in a micro-organism like bacteria, spores and viruses so they cannot multiply. Over the years, many hundreds of bacteria have been tested, and all of them respond to UV-C disinfection – including various coronaviruses.

Directions for Use

• Preparation: Ensure the UV chamber is unplugged and in a safe state before replacing the tube.

• Opening the Chamber: Carefully open the UV chamber lid or door, following the manufacturer’s instructions for access.

• Removing the Old Tube: Gently detach the old UV tube by loosening any clips or brackets that hold it in place. Handle with care to avoid damage.

• Inserting the New Tube: Take the Waldent UV Chambers Tube (Philips/Osram) 8W and align the pins with the socket in the chamber. Push the tube firmly into place until it is secure.

• Securing the Tube: Fasten any clips or brackets to hold the new tube securely.

• Closing the Chamber: Close the lid or door of the UV chamber, ensuring it is properly sealed.

• Testing: Plug the chamber back in and turn it on to ensure the new tube is functioning correctly.

• Regular Maintenance: Check the UV tube regularly for performance and replace as needed, following the same steps.
