Waldent Saliva Ejector with smooth and round tip help to enhance patient comfort while protecting delicate mucosal tissue. A suction tip is a hollow tube that can be used to remove fluid and debris from the oral cavity and gently retract a patient’s cheeks. Tips also offer maneuverability and enable precision in reaching and removing unwanted particles from a patient’s teeth and gums.

Directions for Use

• The tip of the saliva ejector should be placed at the side of the mouth, opposite the area being worked on.
• Have the patient close their lips around the tip of the saliva ejector, forming a seal.
• Suction is created by using a saliva ejector holder, which can be attached to the dental chair or held by an assistant. The holder is used to position the tip of the saliva ejector in the patient’s mouth and create suction.
• Adjust the suction pressure as necessary to remove saliva and fluids from the mouth.
• Monitor the patient throughout the procedure to ensure that the saliva ejector is functioning properly and the patient is comfortable.
• After the procedure is complete, remove the saliva ejector from the patient’s mouth and dispose it of properly.

It’s important to note that saliva ejectors should be used only for their intended purpose and should not be used as a substitute for an aspirator or other dental suction device. Additionally, saliva ejectors should be disposed of properly after use to prevent contamination and the spread of infection.
