The kit includes 21 essential instruments, including a rubber dam punch, frame, clamp forceps, and a complete selection of anterior, premolar, molar, and cervical clamps for versatile clinical applications. Manufactured from premium-grade German stainless steel, each instrument features precision-engineered working ends, excellent corrosion resistance, and a mirror-polished finish for durability and easy maintenance. Ergonomically designed knurled handles provide a secure grip and reduce operator fatigue during prolonged procedures. Suitable for both winged and wingless clamp techniques, the entire kit is fully autoclavable up to 134°C, making it ideal for daily clinical use in general dentistry, restorative procedures, endodontics, and dental education.

 MAINTAINENCE INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Must clean after every use with warm water to remove blood , tissues and mucus from the instruments
  • Ultrasonic cleaning is recommended for all the instruments specially articulated instruments such as forceps, rongeurs, etc
  • Use only standard and reputed brand of disinfectant solutions.

STERILIZATION:

  • We recommend that the temperature does not exceed 120C
  • Dry heat sterilization see that temperature does not exceed 180C and there should be no long exposure as this would cause discoloration, loss of temper and this in turn would disturb the hardening of the instrument
  • Do not use substandard chemicals or disinfectants as they can damage the instruments
  • Avoid use of unsuitable highly acidic chlorine containing agents
  • Use Demineralized water only
  • Never rub an instrument with metal brush at the time of cleaning.

Directions for Use

Preparation:

  • Ensure that the rubber dam kit and all necessary instruments are clean and sterilized according to the provided maintenance and sterilization instructions.
  • Set up the dental operatory with appropriate lighting and equipment for the procedure.

Patient Preparation:

  • Position the patient comfortably in the dental chair and provide appropriate anesthesia if needed.
  • Explain the procedure and the use of the rubber dam to the patient, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

Rubber Dam Setup:

  • Select the appropriate size of the rubber dam frame (adult, medium, or pedo) based on the patient’s mouth size.
  • Attach the rubber dam to the frame securely, ensuring a tight fit.
  • Use the provided clamps to secure the rubber dam around the targeted teeth. Select clamps based on the tooth type and location according to dental anatomy.

Clamp Placement:

  • Use forceps to grasp the selected clamp.
  • Carefully position the clamp around the tooth, ensuring a secure grip without causing discomfort to the patient.
  • Adjust the position of the clamp as needed to achieve proper isolation of the operating field.

Hole Punching:

  • Use the punch tool to create holes in the rubber dam material at the appropriate locations corresponding to the clamped teeth.
  • Ensure that the holes are punched cleanly and accurately to allow for unobstructed access to the treatment area.

Procedure:

  • Perform the intended dental procedure with the isolated operating field provided by the rubber dam.
  • Work within the confines of the rubber dam, taking care to avoid contamination from saliva or other oral fluids.

Post-Procedure:

  • After completing the procedure, carefully remove the rubber dam and associated clamps from the patient’s mouth.
  • Dispose of any used materials properly and clean and sterilize reusable instruments for future use.
