Directions for Use

Preparation

• Complete the tooth preparation and establish a clean dry field around the gingival margin
• Select and pre-cut the appropriate length of retraction cord for the preparation
• Confirm the instrument is autoclaved and sterile before clinical use

Cord Placement

• Loop the retraction cord loosely around the prepared tooth at the gingival margin
• Engage the cord with the serrated tip and tuck it gently into the gingival sulcus
• Work progressively around the tooth using small controlled packing movements
• Angle the instrument slightly toward the already-packed cord to prevent it from lifting out

Retraction

• Select the appropriate working end for anterior or posterior access as needed
• Ensure the cord is seated evenly around the full circumference of the margin
