Description

Waldent Hand Files have been designed in an integrated manner to provide comfort & ease to the endodontists in preparing the canals.The strongest of the hand files by passing obstructions with far greater ease, are crafted to give the operator a smooth tactile sense inside the canal during instrumentation. These special hand files are made up of stainless Steel Alloy. With more refined cutting edge , Tear drop cross section, these files lasts upto 8-10 endodontic cases.

 INDICATIONS:

• For cleaning and shaping of canals
• Negotiating the canals with hand files prior to using rotary files
• Can be used as a pre-bent file in curved canals.

• For severely curved canals

Directions for Use

• Preparation: Ensure the working area is well-illuminated, and the patient is properly anesthetized.

• Select the Correct Size: Identify the appropriate H-File size based on the ISO color-coded handle (25mm).

• Access Opening: Create a suitable access opening to reach the root canal system.

• Watch-Winding Motion: Insert the H-File into the canal and employ a watch-winding motion. Move the file in a slow and controlled manner, applying slight apical pressure.

• Working Length: Reach the desired working length within the canal, adjusting as needed for each case.

• Cleaning and Shaping: Continue the watch-winding motion to effectively debride the canal dentin and shape the canal according to treatment requirements.

• Inspect and Irrigate: Periodically inspect the canal and irrigate with a suitable solution to remove debris.

• Autoclave: After use, autoclave the H-File at 135°C for sterilization, ensuring proper infection control for subsequent procedures
