Waldent Lead Apron & Thyroid Shield Collar constructed of thin rubber and inside have lead in shape of apron.Dental X-rays are an indispensable tool in diagnosis and monitoring oral conditions.It is important that dental lead aprons to be used during such procedure to prevent patient from x – ray exposure.A lead apron is a type of protective clothing that acts as a radiation shield.Lead Apron only attenuate radiation,absobs 90 – 95 % of scattered radiation.

Directions for Use

• Wear the Apron: Put on the lead apron over your shoulders, ensuring it covers the chest, abdomen, and pelvic areas.
• Position the Thyroid Shield: Place the thyroid collar around your neck, positioning it to cover the thyroid area securely.
• Adjust for Comfort: Ensure both the apron and collar fit comfortably and securely without restricting movement.
• Check Coverage: Make sure the lead apron provides adequate coverage of the body and that the collar fully protects the thyroid.
• After Use: Remove the apron and collar carefully after the procedure. Store in a safe, clean place.
