Directions for Use

• Before attaching the mixing tip to the cartridge, ensure that the aperture is clear and unblocked. If necessary, scrape away any set material.
• When applying the Waldent FlexiBite bite registration material for occlusal details, cover teeth in either the upper or lower arch. For recording anterior teeth, it’s recommended to place the material over the teeth in both arches, creating a layer approximately 5mm thick.
• When using a double-sided tray, extrude the material on both sides to a depth of approximately 2-3mm.
• Inject the Waldent FlexiBite bite registration material directly onto the tooth surface in a swift and uniform manner.
• Instruct the patient to bite down until the material solidifies, typically setting in 1 minute and 30 seconds.
• Retrieve the solidified bite registration material.
• Remove any excess material that may have entered undercuts using a scalpel and wheelhead.
• Trim the bite impression with a scalpel. Recommended areas for trimming include pit & fissures, interdentium, and contact surfaces with soft tissues.
• The standard bite registration impression should exhibit:

• Occlusal points.
• Depths lower than the tooth surface.
• Intact and clear teeth outline.
