Key Highlights
Description
Voco Calcimol LC Light-Cure is a dental material designed for various applications in restorative dentistry. This one-component product, containing calcium hydroxide, offers exceptional benefits to dental professionals.
With indications for both indirect pulp capping and cavity lining under restorative materials, Calcimol LC ensures optimal patient care. It’s a radiopaque, light-curing material that promotes effective, long-lasting treatments.
However, it’s essential to note certain contraindications. Calcimol LC contains specific ingredients like methacrylates, BHT, and amines, making it unsuitable for individuals with known allergies to these components.
Application is straightforward, and the non-dripping syringe design enhances precision during usage. For thicker cavity linings, layering and curing are recommended, providing robust adhesion.
For adhesive restorative treatments, it can be combined with suitable adhesives, following the manufacturer’s instructions. The marginal area requires special attention to ensure a durable, caries-free foundation.
Proper storage is crucial, and VOCO recommends protecting the product from light and moisture to maintain its integrity.
