SuperEndo Articulating Paper- Soft, smooth, non-sticking, sensitive surface for marking at every point of articulation.

Articulating paper is a diagnostic tool used in dentistry to highlight occlusal contacts and the distribution of occlusal forces. That is, it marks those points on the teeth where the teeth contact during biting and grinding. Articulating paper is made of a thin, non-adhesive paper strip covered in fluorescent ink or dye-containing wax.

A strip of articulating paper is placed between the teeth while the desired mandibular movements are performed.

Directions for Use

• Preparation:
• Ensure the patient’s mouth is clean and dry before the procedure.
• Verify that restorations or occlusal surfaces are polished and free of debris.

• Handling:
• Select the appropriate articulating paper size and thickness based on the procedure.
• Hold the articulating paper using clean hands or forceps to maintain sterility.

• Application:
• Place the paper between the patient’s occlusal surfaces (upper and lower teeth).
• Instruct the patient to bite down gently and perform natural jaw movements like grinding or tapping.

• Observation:
• Remove the paper and examine the marked contact points.
• Identify high spots or areas requiring adjustment based on the colored marks.

• Adjustment:
• Adjust occlusion as needed using appropriate instruments.
• Repeat the process with fresh articulating paper to confirm proper contact.

• Post-Use:
• Dispose of the used articulating paper according to clinical waste protocols.
• Reassure the patient of a comfortable occlusal fit before concluding the procedure.
