Directions for Use

Preparation

• Clean and dry the tooth surface to ensure optimal adhesion.

Application

• Attach the fine metal syringe tip to the Septodont Septo-Etch syringe.
• Apply a small amount of the etchant gel precisely to the area requiring etching, avoiding soft tissues and adjacent teeth.

Etching Time

• Allow the gel to remain on the enamel for 15 seconds and on the dentin for 10 seconds.
• Ensure that the gel covers the area uniformly.

Rinsing

• Rinse thoroughly with water to remove all traces of the etchant gel.
• Dry the tooth surface gently using air; avoid desiccating the dentin.

Post-Etching

• Confirm the presence of a frosty appearance on the enamel surface, indicating readiness for bonding agent application.
• Proceed with the application of the bonding agent and restoration as per standard protocol.

After Use

• Dispose of the used syringe tip appropriately.
• Cap the syringe securely to prevent contamination or drying out of the gel.
