Directions for Use

Preparation

• Inspect the product packaging and check the expiry date before opening the pack
• Gently shake the pouch to evenly distribute the powder before measuring
• Select an appropriate impression tray based on the patient’s arch size and clinical case

Mixing

• Use the supplied scoop to measure the recommended quantity of powder
• Use the measuring vial to dispense the correct volume of clean room temperature water
• Add the powder to the water in a clean rubber bowl and mix using a spatula
• Mix vigorously for 30 to 45 seconds until a smooth creamy homogenous consistency is achieved

Impression Taking

• Load the mixed alginate evenly into the selected impression tray without trapping air
• Gently seat the loaded tray into the patient’s mouth covering all required areas
• Hold the tray steady and allow the alginate to set for approximately 3 minutes 10 seconds
• Remove the tray with a gentle rocking motion to minimize distortion of the impression

Post Use Care

• Rinse the impression with running water immediately after removal to clean off saliva
• Disinfect the impression following standard infection control protocol before pouring the cast
• Pour the cast as soon as possible to prevent dimensional change due to dehydration
• Reseal the powder pouch tightly and store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight
