Tor Vm Transparent Strips

Description

Tor Vm Transparent Strips is a band that adapts to the surface of the tooth to be restored, reproducing its anatomical contours, and replacing the missing wall or walls while the restoration is being performed, thus transforming a composite cavity into a simple cavity for easy restoration.

It is made of transparent polyester, especially indicated for light-cured composite materials. The matrix strip is highly resistant and does not tear under tension. Available in 2 different widths.

INDICATION :

• Used to prevent composite from adhering to the adjacent teeth.
• The matrix bands are used in Class II restorations.
• Used to support and give form to the restoration during its placement and hardening.
• When used in the labial surface build-up helps in achieving the desired esthetic anatomic contour.
• Excellent labial surface finish.

Directions for Use

• Prepare the tooth by removing any decay or damage and then placing the composite resin material.
• Then shape the restoration to the desired contour using dental instruments.
• Next, Place a transparent strip over the restoration and carefully press it into place.
• Then use a curing light to activate the composite resin and cure it through the transparent strip.
• After the resin is cured, remove the transparent strip and use a polishing tool to smooth and polish the restoration, giving it a natural appearance.
