Unlike some other etching gels, it contains silica, which may be difficult to remove completely and could impact bonding if left on the etched surface. The gel is ideal for direct composite restorations, pit and fissure sealant applications, indirect restorations like composite or metal-free ceramics with adhesive cements, and bonding orthodontic brackets. After application, it should be left for 15 seconds, rinsed with water, and the area dried with oil-free air for optimal results.

Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Ensure the tooth surface is clean and free from debris
• Isolate the treatment area with a rubber dam or cotton rolls to prevent moisture contamination

Application:

• Using the needle provided, dispense a small amount of etching gel onto the enamel and/or dentin surface
• Apply a uniform layer of gel on the targeted surface
• Ensure the gel covers the entire area to be etched

Etching Time:

• Allow the gel to sit for 15-20 seconds for enamel etching or 10-15 seconds for dentin conditioning

Rinse:

• Thoroughly rinse the area with water to remove all gel residue
• Use air or a suction device to dry the surface, ensuring no excess moisture remains

Drying and Bonding:

• Once dry, proceed with the bonding process or application of the restorative material

Precautions:

• Avoid contact with soft tissues or eyes
• Do not leave the gel on the surface for too long to avoid over-etching
