Directions for Use

• Preparation: Ensure proper preparation and cleaning of the root canal according to standard endodontic procedures.
• Mixing: Dispense the required quantity of RC Fill powder and liquid onto a mixing pad provided. Use a metal cement spatula to mix the components in a circular motion until a desired consistency is achieved. Avoid mixing with eugenol during this process.
• Consistency Check: The ideal consistency is reached when the mixture can be pulled along the spatula for approximately half an inch. Thinner consistency may prolong setting time, while thicker consistency may accelerate it.
• Application Method 1: Using a paste carrier or bi-directional spirals, fill the canal with the mixed RC Fill paste. Ensure thorough coverage and removal of any excess material with a cotton swab.
• Application Method 2: Alternatively, select a master gutta percha cone and apply the mixed paste into the canal using the chosen technique until tug-back is felt.
• Sealing: Once the canal is filled, seal off the access cavity with suitable cement according to standard dental procedures.
• Setting Time: RC Fill offers a mixing time of 45 seconds, a working time of 15 minutes, and an initial setting time of 30 minutes. Final setting occurs within 6 hours.
• Storage: Store RC Fill away from sunlight in a cool and dry place to maintain its integrity and effectiveness.
• Removal: If removal is necessary, RC Fill can be easily dissolved using RC Solve, Prime Dental’s gutta percha and zinc oxide eugenol solvent, coupled with gates drills for efficient extraction.
