Prime Dental Prime MTA Packable is an endodontic cement composed of three mineral oxides and hydrophilic particles. It is designed for use in moist environments, offering excellent marginal sealing and the ability to promote dentin bridge formation when used in pulp capping. Ideal for root canal lateral and furcation perforations, internal resorption, retrograde filling, and apexification, this material can be used in the presence of moisture, ensuring effective root canal sealing and closure of perforations. The material is easy to mix, with a consistency similar to wet sand, and sets within 10 minutes, achieving a final solid state in approximately 3 hours. It is essential to avoid dehydration of the mixture, and proper storage is required for optimal performance.

• 1 x 1g Powder
• 1 x 5ml Liquid

Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Shake the bottle containing MTA liquid
• Dispense 0.6g of MTA powder on a clean mixing pad

Mixing:

• Add 0.2ml of MTA liquid to the powder
• Mix for 30 seconds until the consistency is similar to wet sand

Application:

• Use a sterile instrument to transfer the mixed material to the site
• Apply the cement using an amalgam carrier or similar tool
• Condense the cement with amalgam condensers, burnishers, or wet absorbent paper points

Setting:

• The initial setting time is approximately 10 minutes
• Final setting occurs in about 3 hours, and treatment can continue once set

Storage:

• Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight
• Keep bottle tightly closed after use

Precautions:

• Avoid skin and eye contact; rinse thoroughly if contact occurs
• Do not ingest; seek medical attention if swallowed
• Use immediately after mixing and discard if the mixture dehydrates
