Prime Dental Prime Cem Luting Type 1 GIC is a radiopaque, self-curing glass ionomer luting material designed for professional dental use. It offers excellent adhesion and flowability, making it ideal for luting metal or porcelain crowns, bridges, stainless steel crowns, and orthodontic bands. The material is provided as a powder-liquid pack with a precise mixing ratio of 1 scoop of powder to 2 drops of liquid. The cement features a working time of 1 minute 30 seconds and sets intra-orally in 6 minutes. For optimal results, follow the detailed preparation and application instructions. Store at 25°C, avoiding moisture and sunlight. Available in A2 shade with a 3-year shelf life, the package includes powder, liquid, scoop, and mixing pad.

INDICATIONS:

1. Luting of metal or porcelain fused to metal crowns, bridges, inlays.
2. Luting of stainless steel crowns.
3. Cementation of orthodontic bands.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

1. Pulp capping.
2. In rare cases, the product may cause sensitivity in some persons. If such reactions are experienced, discontinue the use of the product and refer to a physician.

Directions for Use

Dispensing:

• Shake the powder bottle and tap gently before dispensing.
• Dispense 1 level scoop of powder and 2 drops of liquid using the provided scoop and bottle
• Close bottles immediately after use to prevent contamination

Mixing:

• Place the powder and liquid onto a mixing pad
• Add the powder to the liquid in two portions
• Mix the first portion for 5 seconds, then add the second portion and mix thoroughly for 15 seconds (total 20 seconds)

Cementation:

• Clean and dry the tooth surface without over-drying
• Prepare the internal surface of the crown or band
• Apply the cement to the internal surface and position it within 30 seconds after mixing

Excess Cement Removal:

• Remove excess cement at the gel stage for optimal results

Storage:

• Store at 25°C in a dry place, away from sunlight and moisture
