Directions for Use

Preparation: Ensure that the root canal is properly prepared and ready for cleansing.

Warning: Do not mix Citra Wash with sodium hypochlorite without a rinse interval to avoid the production of chlorine gas. Always rinse with clean, bacteria-free water between Citra Wash and sodium hypochlorite irrigation.

Application:

• Make sure the tip of the applicator is loose in the canal and at least 2mm short of the apex.
• Gently deliver Citra Wash into the canal with the applicator tip.
• Agitate the solution to clean the canal walls and dissolve any calcium hydroxide residue.
• Avoid expressing Citra Wash when the applicator tip is at full length or if it fits tightly against the canal walls.

Dwell Time:

• If using Citra Wash to remove smear layer, let it dwell in the canal for 3 minutes.

Rinsing:

• Flush out the canal with clean, bacteria-free water after using Citra Wash.
• Follow with copious irrigation of sodium hypochlorite.

Final Rinse:

• Perform a final rinse with clean, bacteria-free water, plain EDTA, or local anesthetic.

Completion:
