Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Ensure the work area is clean and dry.
• Gather all necessary materials: Ad Sil Acura Putty Hard Set jar (Base + Catalyst), tray, tray adhesive, mixing spatula, and syringe (if applicable).
• Prepare the patient for the impression procedure.

Mixing:

• Open the Ad Sil Acura Putty Hard Set jar and dispense equal quantities of base and catalyst.
• Knead the putty material with your fingers until it reaches a uniform consistency. It should turn blue at the end of mixing.
• If using wash material, mix it with a stiff spatula until a uniform color is achieved.

Tray Preparation:

• Apply tray adhesive to the tray and ensure it covers the entire inner surface evenly.
• Allow the tray adhesive to dry before proceeding.

Patient Preparation:

• Wipe the patient’s teeth to remove excess blood, saliva, and water. Complete drying is not mandatory, but foreign materials can affect flow.

Impression Taking:

• Load the mixed Ad Sil Acura Putty Hard Set into the tray.
• Insert the loaded tray into the patient’s mouth, ensuring proper positioning and adequate coverage.
• Wait for the specified setting time (refer to the product specifications).
• Once set, carefully remove the tray from the patient’s mouth, breaking the seal gently.

Post-Impression Handling:

• Rinse the impression under running water to remove any debris.
• If necessary, disinfect the impression according to standard protocols.
• Avoid storing the impression in direct sunlight.

Model Pouring:

• Models can be poured after 20 minutes of impression taking. Ad Sil Acura is compatible with all die materials, including epoxy.
• Epoxy models can be poured after 60 minutes of taking the impression.

Storage:

• Store the Ad Sil Acura Putty Hard Set jar in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Always screw the cap tightly back on the jar after each use.
• Do not use the product after the expiration date.

Disposal:
