Key Highlights

Non-Eugenol Temporary Resin Cement for Implant Retained Crowns

Description

Premier Dental Implant Cement Dual-Barrel Syringe is a high-performance cement designed for secure and reliable implant-retained crowns. Made from a tough elastomeric resin, this cement flexes under force to absorb shock and withstand daily occlusal stresses, ensuring a strong, durable hold. Its innovative formula provides a tight marginal seal that prevents washout, while the mechanical retention allows for easy crown removal for future adjustments or retreatments. The non-fluoride formulation is safe for use with all alloys, including titanium, and offers protection from corrosive high fluoride environments. This user-friendly cement comes in a convenient dual-barrel syringe with auto-mix tips, eliminating the need for adhesives or primers. Perfect for both temporary and long-term restorations, Premier® Dental Implant Cement™ offers exceptional performance and ease of use for dental professionals.

Directions for Use

  • Preparation:

    • Ensure that both the implant abutment and the crown are clean and dry.
    • Prepare the working area and have all necessary tools within reach.
  • Mixing:

    • Attach a mixing tip to the dual-barrel syringe.
    • Dispense a small amount of cement onto a mixing pad to ensure proper mixing.
  • Application:

    • Apply a thin, even layer of Premier® Dental Implant Cement™ around the inside margin of the crown using the auto-mix syringe.
    • Avoid overfilling to minimize excess cement.
  • Seating the Crown:

    • Carefully position the crown onto the implant abutment.
    • Apply gentle pressure to ensure the crown is properly seated.
  • Initial Set Time:

    • Allow the cement to reach the gel phase, which occurs approximately 2.5 minutes after application.

  • Excess Cement Removal:

    • Once the cement has reached the gel phase, remove any excess cement from the margins and surrounding areas using an appropriate instrument.
    • Ensure that all excess cement is removed to avoid irritation or complications.
  • Final Set:

    • Allow the cement to fully set according to the manufacturer’s recommended time before subjecting the crown to functional loads.
    • Verify the stability and fit of the crown.
  • Radiographic Check:

    • If needed, take radiographs to ensure that no excess cement remains around the implant abutment.
  • Post-Procedure:

    • Instruct the patient on proper care and maintenance of the restoration.
    • Schedule follow-up appointments as necessary to monitor the restoration.
