Directions for Use

• Select the Appropriate Size
  Choose the required ligature tie size (0.010, 0.012, or 0.014) based on the treatment plan and archwire gauge.

• Hold with Ligature Director or Hemostat
  Using a ligature director, hemostat, or Mathieu plier, grasp the preformed ligature tie by its twisted end.

• Position Over Bracket
  Place the loop of the ligature tie securely over the bracket wings, ensuring it fully encircles the archwire.

• Tighten the Ligature
  Twist the ends of the ligature gently but firmly to secure the wire in place, without causing patient discomfort.

• Trim Excess Wire
  After securing, use ligature cutters to trim the excess twisted ends close to the bracket.

• Check for Comfort
  Ensure there are no sharp ends or poking wire that could irritate the patient’s soft tissues.
