Directions for Use

• Prepare the Archwire: After placing the archwire through the brackets and buccal tube, ensure the distal (posterior) end extends slightly beyond the tube
• Position the Plier: Place the small, serrated tips of the cinch back plier close to the distal end of the archwire, just behind the buccal tube
• Secure the Wire: Grip the wire firmly with the plier’s serrated tips to prevent slippage during bending
• Bend the Wire: Using the plier, bend the distal end of the archwire 90° away from the buccal tube to “cinch back” the wire. This prevents the wire from sliding out and improves patient comfort
• Final Check: Ensure the bent wire is flush against the tube and not causing irritation to the patient’s cheek or soft tissue
