Directions for Use

• Prepare the Patient: Ensure the patient is comfortable and the area around the brackets is clean
• Position the Pliers: Place the tips of the bracket remover pliers under the bracket wings or edges. The angled or contoured tips allow easy access to both anterior and posterior teeth
• Apply Gentle Pressure: Squeeze the handles gently but firmly to grip the bracket. Apply a controlled force in an incisal-to-gingival direction (top to bottom) to snap the bracket off the tooth
• Avoid Removing Ties: It is usually not necessary to remove the ligature ties before bracket removal, as this helps prevent brackets from dropping into the mouth
• Remove Residual Adhesive: After bracket removal, use appropriate adhesive removing pliers or instruments to clean any remaining bonding material from the tooth surface
