Specifications

The HSL Horizontal Scribe Line of the Aria Bracket helps to improve the vertical positioning (occluso-gingival) of the bracket during bonding. In order to ideally position the bracket on the transverse plane (along the long axis of the tooth),  this feature within the bracket base has been designed (a perpendicular line from the center of the slot base) to complement bracket height gauges to accurately site on the FA point of the tooth. This reduces improper extrusion or intrusion of teeth, angulation, as well as torque and in-out errors.

Directions for Use

• Identify the FA point (Facial Axis point) on the tooth before bracket placement.

• Position the bracket on the tooth surface aligning the HSL (Horizontal Scribe Line) with the desired vertical reference point.

• Use a bracket height gauge to accurately position the bracket at the correct occluso-gingival height.

• Align the perpendicular reference line from the slot base along the long axis of the tooth to ensure correct transverse positioning.

• Verify that the slot line is level to achieve proper torque direction and bracket orientation.

• Adjust bracket placement if required to avoid angulation, torque, or in-out positioning errors.

• Once ideal positioning is confirmed, proceed with bonding and light curing according to standard orthodontic bonding protocols.
