Directions for Use

• Preparation:

  • Open the pack and remove a single SMMS apron.
  • Ensure the apron is intact and free from any tears or defects.

• Wearing the Apron:

  • Hold the apron by the neck and waist straps.
  • Place the neck strap around the patient’s neck and adjust for a secure fit.
  • Wrap the waist straps around the patient’s back and tie them securely to ensure the apron covers the chest, abdomen, and sides.

• During the Procedure:

  • The apron should remain comfortably in place, offering full coverage to protect the patient’s clothing from contamination.
  • Ensure the apron stays dry and does not interfere with the dental or orthodontic procedure.

• Removal:

  • After the procedure is complete, carefully untie the waist straps and remove the apron from the patient.
  • Dispose of the used apron in a proper waste bin immediately.

• Post-Use:

  • Dispose of the apron in accordance with local health and safety regulations to maintain infection control standards.
