Directions for Use

Preparation:

Handling:

• Select the appropriate model (straight or curved) based on the surgical requirement.
• Hold the hemostat by the finger rings, allowing the thumb and ring finger to control the instrument while the index and middle fingers support it.

Application:

• Identify the blood vessel or tissue requiring constriction.
• Gently open the hemostat by separating the finger rings.
• Position the grooved or serrated blades around the vessel or tissue.
• Carefully close the blades by bringing the finger rings together, ensuring the vessel is securely clamped without excessive force.

Locking:

• Engage the ratchet locking mechanism to maintain pressure on the vessel. This ensures a steady grip and prevents slipping.
