Directions for Use

• Before using the NSK TEP ER10 Handpiece, ensure that all necessary sterilization and infection control protocols have been followed to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Select the appropriate hand file for the specific root canal treatment. Ensure that the hand file is clean, sharp, and in good working condition.
• Prior to inserting the hand file into the canal, adjust the handpiece settings to the desired speed and reciprocating motion. The allowable max. speed for the motor is 40,000 min-1.
• With a firm grip on the handpiece, gently insert the hand file into the root canal, applying controlled pressure. The watch-winding, oscillating movement of the handpiece will keep the hand file floating in the canal.
• While performing the root canal therapy, carefully monitor and adjust the coronal and apical pressure as needed to achieve optimal cleaning and shaping results. Exercise caution to prevent excessive pressure that may lead to canal distortion or perforation.
• Maintain a smooth and rhythmic motion as the hand file is maneuvered within the canal. The reciprocating motion of 60˚ assists in efficient instrumentation.
