Directions for Use

EndoMate TC2 MPAS 1:16 Head:-

• Familiarize yourself with the device: Read the user manual provided by NSK and understand the functions, controls, and settings of the EndoMate TC2.
• Prepare the handpiece: Attach the desired endodontic rotary file system to the handpiece according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Set the parameters: Program the desired settings such as speed, torque, and mode of operation using the intuitive controls and the LCD display.
• Insert the file: Gently insert the rotary file into the root canal, ensuring proper alignment and depth.
• Operate with care: Activate the motor and use the handpiece to shape the root canal, applying controlled and precise movements. Pay attention to any audible or visual cues provided by the device during the procedure.
• Monitor the procedure: Continuously monitor the progress and adjust the settings as necessary to achieve the desired outcome.
• Unloading the file: Pay close attention to the Auto Reverse and Alarm Function, and promptly unload the file if an alarm is triggered or the preset torque level is reached.
• Clean and maintain: After use, clean the handpiece and ensure proper maintenance as per the manufacturer’s instructions to prolong the lifespan of the device.

Apex Locator iPex 2:-

• Positioning and calibration: Position the iPex 2 Apex Locator correctly in relation to the patient’s tooth according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Calibrate the device if necessary.
• Connect the file: Connect the endodontic rotary file to the handpiece of the EndoMate TC2 MPAS 1:16 Head.
• File insertion: Insert the file into the root canal, ensuring proper positioning and alignment.
• Monitor the Apex Locator: Observe the 3-color LCD panel of the iPex 2 to track the file’s location in relation to the root apex. Pay attention to visual cues, such as the bar graph, color changes, and display readings.
• Zone of Precision: Take note of the blue color indication and the change in alert sounds when the file enters the Zone of Precision.
• Over-apex warning: If the file goes past the apex, be aware of the fast and continuous alert sound, and observe the red “APEX” display along with the blue “OA” (Over Apex) indication.
• Exercise caution: Use the information provided by the Apex Locator as a guide, but rely on your clinical judgment and expertise during the procedure.
• Take necessary action: If the file goes beyond the desired depth or an over-apex situation occurs, promptly adjust the file position to prevent complications.
• Post-procedure checks: After completing the root canal procedure, carefully remove the file from the canal, ensuring proper cleaning and disinfection protocols.
