Directions for Use

Preparatio

• Select the appropriate bur shape and grit for the intended task. Insert the FG shank fully into a clean, well-maintained high-speed airotor handpiece and confirm it is locked securely. Ensure adequate water spray/coolant and proper isolation of the working field.

Surface Roughening

• Using a coarser bur, lightly roughen the existing composite surface to create mechanical retention for the new composite material.

Trimming & Excess Removal

• Remove overhangs, flash, and marginal excess with controlled, intermittent strokes under continuous water cooling.

Contouring

• Shape and contour the freshly placed composite using medium-grit burs, re-establishing natural anatomy and proper occlusal form.

Finishing

• Refine margins and surface detail with fine-grit burs to achieve a smooth, well-blended, aesthetic finish before polishing.

Post-Use Care

• Clean burs immediately to remove debris, then disinfect and autoclave as per your clinic’s infection-control protocol. Inspect the diamond ends for wear, discard any bur with reduced cutting efficiency, and store dry in the kit block to protect the coating.
