Directions for Use

• Gather Equipment: Ensure you have the MiK Jaw Pitch pack containing 50 Range of Motion scales ready for use.
• Prepare Patient: Position the patient comfortably in a seated position with proper head support.
• Select Scale: Choose the appropriate scale based on the specific jaw movement you want to measure (Opening, Protrusive, Right Lateral, or Left Lateral).
• Apply Scale: Place the selected scale between the upper and lower teeth, aligning it carefully with the jaw’s movement direction.
• Measure: Ask the patient to perform the jaw movement slowly and steadily until reaching the maximum range. Ensure the scale stays in place and record the measurement where the jaw stops.
• Repeat if Necessary: For accurate results, repeat the measurement 2-3 times and take the average.
