Directions for Use

• Preparing the Canal: Begin by cleaning and shaping the access cavity to reach the root canal system. Ensure proper access to the canal before proceeding with RC Plus application.
• Irrigation: Before using RC Plus, irrigate the canal with sodium hypochlorite solution to remove loose debris and disinfect the area. Ensure proper irrigation and drying of the canal to create a clean environment for the gel application.
• Applying RC Plus: Take a small amount of RC Plus EDTA Gel using an appropriate instrument or syringe. Place the gel into the canal, either directly or through the use of a reamer, file, or root canal filler. Ensure that the gel is applied thoroughly to cover the entire canal surface.
• Instrumentation: Once RC Plus is applied, use the required reamers and files to navigate the canal. The gel’s lubricating properties will facilitate easy movement and reduce the risk of binding. Carefully and gently work the instruments through the canal to clean and shape it effectively.
• Whitening (if applicable): If dealing with non-vital teeth that require whitening, ensure that the gel is in contact with the tooth’s surface to promote the whitening process. Allow the gel to remain in the canal for the required amount of time-based on the desired whitening effect.
• Sodium Hypochlorite Reaction: If necessary, you can activate the gel’s debris removal property by introducing sodium hypochlorite solution into the canal. This reaction helps lift the debris out of the canal and brightens the pulp chamber, aiding in the identification of additional canals.
• Thorough Cleaning: Continue with the instrumentation process until the canal is thoroughly debrided. This will ensure the proper cleaning of dentin tubules and lateral canals, which is essential for a successful root canal treatment.
