Directions for Use

• Sterilization: Ensure that the Mani H-Files and all necessary instruments are properly sterilized before beginning the procedure to maintain aseptic conditions.
• Anesthesia: Administer local anesthesia to the patient to ensure they are comfortable and pain-free during the procedure.
• Rubber Dam Placement: Isolate the tooth by placing a rubber dam. This prevents contamination of the treatment area and ensures a clean and dry environment.
• Access Opening: Create an access cavity in the affected tooth to reach the pulp chamber. Remove any decayed or damaged tooth structure to gain access.
• Initial Assessment: Evaluate the tooth’s anatomy and identify the number of root canals. Diagnostic tools like X-rays can be used to assist in this assessment.
• File Selection: Select the appropriate size and type of Mani H-File based on the tooth’s anatomy and the specific canal being treated.
• Working Length Determination: Determine the working length of the canal (the depth to which the file should be inserted) using X-rays and electronic apex locators, if available.
• Cleaning and Shaping: Insert the selected Mani H-File gently into the root canal. Use a slow and controlled rotary or hand-filing technique to clean and shape the canal. Be cautious not to apply excessive pressure to avoid damaging the canal walls. Rotate the file in a quarter-turn motion while withdrawing it from the canal to help remove debris.
• Irrigation: Periodically irrigate the canal with an antimicrobial solution to disinfect and remove debris. This helps maintain a sterile environment and clears the canal.
• Monitoring: Continuously monitor the progress by taking X-rays to ensure proper canal shaping and cleaning.
• Finishing and Recapitulation: After initial cleaning and shaping, use Mani H-Files for further refinement of the canal shape and to remove any remaining debris.
• Final Irrigation: – Thoroughly rinse and disinfect the canal one last time before filling it with an appropriate root canal filling material.
• Sealing: Seal the access cavity with a temporary or permanent filling material, depending on the treatment plan.
• Post-Operative Care: Provide the patient with instructions for post-operative care, including any prescribed medications or pain relief.
