Directions for Use

Patient Preparation:

• Ensure the patient is adequately anesthetized
• Maintain proper infection control and aseptic technique

Tool Selection:

• Choose the appropriate TwistOut Elevator (S3, S4, C3, or C4) based on the tooth position, root anatomy, and required access

Insertion:

• Gently insert the elevator between the tooth/root surface and the alveolar bone using a slow, controlled motion
• For S (Straight) types, use vertical movement
• For C (Curved) types, approach the root surface at an angulated path for better adaptation

Luxation:

• Apply gentle apical pressure to wedge the tip between the root and socket
• Use rotational or rocking movements to sever the periodontal ligament fibers gradually
• Avoid excessive force to prevent root or bone fracture

Tooth Elevation:

• Continue luxation until the tooth or root becomes mobile
• Once loosened, extract the tooth using forceps or continue using the elevator if appropriate

Post-Use Care:

• Rinse and sterilize the instrument according to the manufacturer’s guidelines
• Store in a protective cassette to maintain tip integrity and hygiene
