New SonicFill™ 3 is the first Sonic Activated bulkfill composite that acts as a flowable in terms of adaptation and quick placement, but also as a sculptable composite when it comes to carving and contouring.

SonicFill’s secret lays in its highly-filled proprietary resin with special modifiers that react to sonic energy applied through the handpiece.

When sonic energy is applied the viscosity drops (up to 84 %), enabling quick placement and precise adaptation to the cavity walls. When the sonic energy is stopped, the composite returns to a more viscous, non-slumping state that is perfect for carving and contouring.

Directions for Use

• Preparation: Prepare the cavity according to standard dental procedures, ensuring it is clean and free of debris.
• Activation: Ensure the SonicFill™ handpiece is properly connected and activated. Follow manufacturer’s instructions for activation.
• Material Dispensing: Dispense an appropriate amount of SonicFill™ 2 composite material into the prepared cavity. The Sonic Activation will facilitate easy flow and adaptation of the material.
• SingleFill Placement: Place the composite material into the cavity in a single increment, filling up to 5mm in depth. Avoid the need for additional layers or liners.
• Sonic Activation: Activate the SonicFill™ handpiece to activate the composite material. Ensure thorough activation to promote proper polymerization.
• Light Curing: After Sonic Activation, light cure the composite material according to manufacturer’s recommendations. Ensure adequate curing time to achieve optimal hardness.
• Finishing and Polishing: Once the composite material is fully cured, finish and polish the restoration as needed to achieve desired esthetics and contour.
• Post-Operative Instructions: Provide the patient with appropriate post-operative instructions for care and maintenance of the restoration.
• Record Keeping: Document the procedure and materials used in the patient’s records for future reference.
• Clean-Up: Clean and sterilize all instruments and surfaces according to standard infection control protocols.
