Directions for Use

• Preoperative Assessment: Conduct a thorough evaluation of the patient’s maxillary anatomy, focusing on the pterygoid region, to determine suitability for implant placement.
• Anesthesia: Administer appropriate local or general anesthesia to ensure patient comfort during the procedure.
• Surgical Access: Create an incision to expose the pterygoid region, ensuring clear visibility and access to the surgical site.
• Initial Drilling: Utilize a pilot drill to create an initial osteotomy in the pterygoid process, following the predetermined angulation and depth based on preoperative planning.
• Tapping Procedure: Select the appropriate Julldent Pterygoid Tap corresponding to the desired implant size. Insert the tap into the osteotomy and rotate it manually to thread the bone, facilitating easier implant insertion.
• Implant Placement: After tapping, proceed with the placement of the pterygoid implant into the prepared site, ensuring primary stability.
• Postoperative Care: Suture the incision site and provide the patient with postoperative instructions, including medication and oral hygiene guidelines
