JJ Ortho Orthox Metal Bracket Kit is a state-of-the-art orthodontic solution designed to enhance both patient comfort and treatment efficacy. These metal brackets are crafted using Metal Injection Molding, resulting in a durable, one-piece design that ensures longevity and reliability. The low-profile rhomboid shape of the brackets minimizes height without compromising on the in/out dimension, significantly enhancing patient comfort. The chamfered slot facilitates easy wire insertion, and the central scribe line ensures precise bracket placement, eliminating the risk of separation between the bracket and the pad.

Precision is a hallmark of the Orthox brackets, achieved through CNC slot machining, which guarantees exceptional accuracy. Torque is incorporated into the base of each bracket, providing ultimate control during treatment. The system is designed with specific angulations to ensure all roots align parallel, promoting a harmonious alignment of the entire dental arch. The anatomically contoured base of each bracket ensures seamless slot alignment throughout the treatment process.

The Orthox brackets are equipped with expanded tie wing undercuts, making bracket ligation straightforward. The mesh lock base delivers one of the strongest bond strengths available, tested to 9 megapascals by an Instron machine, and further reinforced by micro etching on the base.

Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Clean the teeth thoroughly to remove any plaque or debris.
• Dry the teeth completely to ensure optimal bonding.

Bonding the Brackets:

• Apply a suitable orthodontic adhesive to the base of each Orthox metal bracket.
• Position the bracket on the tooth, aligning it with the central scribe line for accurate placement.
• Press firmly to ensure a secure bond and eliminate air bubbles.
• Use a curing light to set the adhesive according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Inserting the Archwire:

• Select the appropriate archwire for the patient’s stage of treatment.
• Insert the archwire into the chamfered slot of each bracket, ensuring it sits securely.
• Use expanded tie wings and undercuts to ligate the archwire in place, using elastic or metal ligatures as required.

Adjustments:

• Periodically check and adjust the archwire to ensure continuous tooth movement.
• Re-ligate as necessary during follow-up appointments.

Maintaining Brackets:

• Educate the patient on proper oral hygiene practices to maintain bracket integrity.
• Advise the patient to avoid hard or sticky foods that could dislodge the brackets.

Removing Brackets:

• At the end of the treatment, use appropriate orthodontic tools to gently remove the brackets.
• Clean any remaining adhesive from the teeth to restore a smooth surface.
