Ivoclar Telio Inlay / Onlay Temporary Filling Material – Universal (Pack Of 3) is a light-cured provisional restorative system designed for reliable interim restorations of Class I and Class II cavities. Telio Inlay offers a soft-elastic consistency ideal for deep, well-retained inlay preparations and for sealing screw channels. Telio Onlay provides lower elasticity and greater resistance to occlusal forces, making it suitable for large or less retentive onlay preparations and screw channel sealing. Both materials eliminate the need for temporary cement, allow fast application with cavifils or syringes, exhibit low volumetric shrinkage to minimize marginal gaps, and permit one-piece removal. Their handling and removal characteristics streamline temporization workflows while protecting prepared teeth until definitive restoration.

Directions for Use

Preparation

• Confirm indication and select Inlay or Onlay material
• Isolate the operative field using rubber dam or cotton rolls
• Clean and dry the preparation without desiccating dentin
• Ensure all provisional instruments and cavifils/syringe tips are ready

Application

• Dispense Telio material directly into the preparation using a syringe or cavifil
• Adapt material gently to cavity walls and margins with an instrument
• Shape occlusal anatomy roughly to avoid excess material removal after curing
• Light cure according to manufacturer recommended time and light intensity

Finishing

• Remove flash and refine margins after polymerization using handpieces and finishing instruments
• Adjust occlusion as required with fine finishing burs and polishers

Post-Use Care

• Advise patient about provisional limitations and avoid heavy biting forces
• Schedule definitive restoration appointment as planned
• Monitor margins and contacts at follow-up visits

Removal

• Remove the provisional in one piece using an appropriate excavator or scaler
• Clean the preparation and verify tissue health before final restoration
